Our History
A.W.D.I. started in 1951 by one man with a vision, EB Lyles. He knew that there was power in numbers and began recruiting independent auto part stores to pool their orders. GoJo Hand Cleaner was the first line stocked at the warehouse.
| After a few years, EB sold the warehouse to his customers. They believed that “all jobbers are created equal” regardless of size or volume and developed a program accordingly. All members enjoy the same buying power equally. As time went on, A.W.D.I. grew exponentially. Our product lines went from one line to over 100 with many lines available on a drop ship basis. |  |
